Online Event Registration and Downpayment

You are completing an Event Contract Please read these terms and conditions before filling out the online form and making your downpayment.

A $500 non-refundable retainer is due the day of the signing the contract to secure the event date. A deposit equal to one half of the estimated balance is due sixty days prior to the event. In the event of cancellation, a refund of 25% of the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations must occur 21 days prior to the date of the event in order to receive this refund. Changes to the order must be made no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Changes to the order within 30 days of the event may be subject to an additional charge.

The final guest count and food choices, including allergies and special requests, must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the date of the event. At this time the balance of the bill is to be paid.

All remaining buffet items are property of Greenwood’s At Canterbury Shaker Village. The only exception is items ordered by the piece. These items may be boxed "to-go" and sent with the guests. Once food leaves the premises we can no longer guarantee the safety of the item. The staff at Greenwood’s recommends that you always observe good food safety practices.

Site contracts with Canterbury Shaker Village are for the event location only.

All other contracts with bakers and/or rental companies and between the event coordinator and the company in question and are not binding to Greenwood’s At Canterbury Shaker Village.

Limited bar- a few select items are offered to the guests (of legal age and with proper identification) with the balance to be charged to the event host.

Wine service- Bottles of wine that have been pre-selected will be opened and offered to the guests (of legal age and with proper identification). Once opened, the bottles will be left on the tables for the guest to enjoy. The event host will be charged for the bottles that have been opened.

A valid credit card will be left with the manager on duty. A deposit prior to the event will be charged the day of the event. The remainder plus a 20% service charge will be charged at the conclusion of the event.

 

There will be a charge of $15 per hour for each bartender. This rate will be for one hour after the event and two hours prior.

Greenwood’s reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol at anytime.

Open bar- all guests (of legal age and with proper identification) are welcome to order any item from the bar with the balance to be charged to the event host.
